MoU Signing Between AIT & University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB)

AIT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), facilitated by Bangabandhu Chair Professor Prof. Joyashree Roy, to launch an International Bachelor’s-Master’s Unified Program at AIT. On 1st September 2020, AIT President Dr. Eden Woon formally signed the agreement with the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), in presence of Prof. Shamsad Mortuza, Pro Vice-Chancellor who represented ULAB and and extended the felicitations of its Vice Chancellor Prof Jahirul Haque.
This Unified Program will enable qualified final year undergraduate students from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh to join AIT to complete a project, co-supervised by the faculty members from both the institutions during the month of October each year. The qualified students will further have the opportunity to pursue a Master's degree program at AIT in the month of January in the next successive year. Students pursuing undergraduate programs in Arts, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Computer Science and Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ULAB will have the opportunity to choose from the wide range of Master's programs offered at AIT’s School of Engineering and Technology (SET), School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD) and School of Management (SOM).
President Woon and Pro Vice-Chancellor Mortuza, have highly appreciated this instrumental work of Bangabandhu Chair Professor Joyashree Roy, and the Embassy of Bangladesh to Thailand, for their vital support in establishing this new partnership between AIT and ULAB.
