In 2018, the "Bangabandhu Chair" Professor and Doctoral Research has been endowed to the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in honour of the Father of the Nation of Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
"In 2015 Bangladesh leaving behind the status of a least developed country crossed the bar and entered into the Lower Middle-Income Country group. The country aspires to achieve the developed country status by 2041. "
Sustainable Energy Sector
